...which, for those of you who are unsure what that is, it's the name given to people who are avid fans of the cult classic television series, Mystery Science Theater 3000. Including yours truly! :D

Anyway, after an exceptionally successful Kickstarter campaign, the show was revived for a new season and is going to be premiering on Netflix on April 14th. Yeah! Tomorrow! :excited:

Unfortunately, as one of the backers of the Kickstarter who had an opportunity to get a sneak peek at the first episode, I am under obligation not to reveal any spoilers of any kind. Which is fine because, you know, it's coming out tomorrow. You'll get to see it on Netflix REAL soon.

If you aren't a fan, but would like to check it out, I would recommend seeing this latest season first. Granted, you can watch any season you like, but if you are a younger viewer, there is a better chance that many of the jokes and references from the previous seasons will go right over your heads. Just a warning ahead of time.

If you ARE a fan of the show and want to show your support, remember that every view that the episodes get on Netflix is an indicator that they should make more seasons in the future!

That's right, all you Samurai Jack fans! Tomorrow is the big day! Finally, we get the first episode that will lead to some closure to one of the best cartoons made for the Cartoon Network.

While I know that not everyone has Cartoon Network, or cable in general, I still insist that everyone try to see it on tv. Even if it's not your tv! Heck, ask one of your friends if you can watch it with them. Make a day out of it! :D

But, seriously, I've been waiting so long for this, and now it's almost here! :excited:

And celebrate the wonderfulness that is Halloween!

Make sure them kids get plenty of sweets.

Do avoid TPing and egging other people's houses (some of them put effort into those decorations)

May your costume parties be incredible, and your horror movie marathons unbelievable.

But most of all, have a Happy Halloween! :pumpkin:

Up until a few days ago, I had lost my job that I had been working at for two years. As a result, I was spending all of my time in the month of June and a little of July trying to find a new job. I know that going onto an art forum such as this is not incredibly important, but I do enjoy logging on and sending out llama response messages (by the way, I am going to get back to those real soon).

Just figured I let those who follow me to know that I haven't left, I just had to take care of some things.

...oh, yeah, and HAPPY BELATED INDEPENDENCE DAY! Enjoying the Fireworks - NaNoEmo Day 7

Eh, why not?

  1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?

    • While it says I started on February 29, 2008, I started going to the website ever since my college days in 2004.
  2. What does your username mean?

    • It's a pun, with whim spelled with an invisible I, and using the three letters in my initials.
  3. Describe yourself in three words.

    • Weird and proud.
  4. Are you left or right handed?

    • Right!
  5. What was your first deviation?

    • My old signature logo and still currently my profile thumbnail.
  6. What is your favourite type of art to create?

    • Cartoons, especially if it involves monsters.
  7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?

    • Surrealism.
  8. What was your first favourite?

    • Ooh, that's a hard one, mostly because my favorites gallery has gotten so big, and because certain pictures disappear when other deviants leave. But I believe it was Scarecrow by RadoJavor.  Scarecrow by RadoJavor
  9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?

    • The smart-ass answer would be "good." But I tend to gravitate towards digital art more.
  10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?

    • The guy whose art introduced me to the site: Andrew Dickman.
  11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

    • There are too many choices. Top two would be Andrew Dickman and JollyJack.
  12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

    • Seeing one of my friends start up and get popular on here made me want to reinvigorate my artistic side.
  13. What are your preferred tools to create art?

    • Pencil and paper, with a no-bleed pen for inking.
  14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?

    • I get inspiration while doing mindless activities like pulling weeds in the garden.
  15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?

    • The moment when I decided to make fun comments when giving out llama badges. Actually, no. That's second, compared to the first time I received a comment back saying they enjoyed it.

Okay, that about does it. Happy Birthday, DeviantArt!

Just wanted to let you all know that I started a Tumblr blog yesterday. Not sure if I will upload more art there or not, as I just started it with no real theme in mind.
I did it because I have been watching a lot of blogs in the past, wanted to become more involved in the ones I enjoy so much, and finally gathered up the courage to do so.
Plus I did it on 07/17/2015, which, unless I am mistaken, is a thoroughly odd day to start a blog.
Anyway, thought I would share that with you all. Later!

Hey there, everybody!

So, for those of you intrigued by the journal title, Ankama is a company in Roubaix, France, that is responsible for both the Dofus and Wakfu MMORPG games and animated television series. While I have yet to get enough free time to truly get into any MMORPGs, the artwork and large selection of player classes has kept me a fan for a long time. At least from afar. ^^;

Anyway, the Wakfu animated series is just as high-quality as the actual game, and Ankama had a Kickstarter campaign going about two years ago to get it dubbed into English and sent stateside. Naturally, it exceeded it's campaign goal, and I was one of the guys that made it happen! :D

The point of all this is: The stuff that I donated for came in today! :excited: I got both seasons of the show on Blu-Ray, a CD of the opening theme, a board game called Mifuchi, a custom t-shirt, and a dinky little sticker of Yugo, the main character of the show. (seriously, you could use it as a slightly larger stamp) Me and Bud were ecstatic to see them on the kitchen table when we got home!

Anyway, if you were a part of the campaign, thanks! If you weren't, or if you never heard of the series before, they should still be streaming the Wakfu episodes on Netflix. It is a must-see, you will not be disappointed.

Take care, everybody!

Hey everyone!

So, my best bud, MrPants8976 :iconmrpants8976:, is undergoing some treatments that have him confined to his room and stay 3 feet away (from relatives) until Saturday.

If you could send some good vibes, and possibly a message or two, I'm sure that he would appreciate it.

Hey everyone, I know it has been a while since I updated a journal entry, but it's a special day today.
Today is my golden birthday! For those who don't know what that is, it's when your age matches the day that you were born. To celebrate, I am doing something I haven't done in a long time: go see a play.

And since Halloween is so close, I picked "The Gravedigger," which is based on the Frankenstein story. It's going to be in Oak Brook at the First Folio Theater, and Chicago Tribune gave it a great review, so I would recommend you guys see it too! It should be running until the 4th of November, so there's still time.

Anyway, hope you all have a good day today! I certainly hope I will! :excited:

A good neighbor and childhood friend of mine, Aaron Toppen, died while stationed at Afghanistan. I found out this morning, but it didn't sink in right away. I guess that happens a lot.

I don't know much about what happened, but they plan on putting up info on the news tonight.

If any of you know anyone from the Toppen family, please send them some love and condolences. I know I will.

Anyone using Internet mail such as Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and so on. This information arrived this morning, Direct from both Microsoft and Norton. Please send it to everybody you know who has access to the Internet. You may receive an apparently harmless e-mail titled 'MailServer Report'

If you open either file, a message will appear on If you open either file, a message will appear on your screen saying: 'It is too late now, your life is no longer beautiful.'

Subsequently you will LOSE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PC,

And the person who sent it to you will gain access to your name, e-mail and password.
This is a new virus which started to circulate on Saturday afternoon. AOL has already confirmed the severity, and the anti virus software's are not capable of destroying it .

The virus has been created by a hacker who calls himself 'life owner'..

Remember, always be careful of messages you receive in email-don't open them unless you're 100% POSITIVE they're safe. If you have even the SLIGHTEST doubt, DON'T open it-DELETE it, it's the smart thing to do!
